Conventional switches usually reach either a low precision or the stopping distance is too short, so that the switch can be easily destroyed while setting the axis. The assembly is also usually time consuming.
Initiators offer better solutions, however, require additional mounting hardware and are often expensive.
Our limit switch has an overrun of 10 mm and a precise switching point.

Some of the more simple modifications we do on motor shafts include, for example, shortening the shaft so that it fits perfectly in a specific machine. In this case, we cut a flat section out of the motor shaft, creating what is often called a “D-cut.” [Read more…]
