The TMCM-3351 extends the successful TMCM-351, which has been on the market for more than a decade, by a closed-loop stepper motor servo controller.
The new board drives three 2-phase bipolar stepper motors up to 2.8A. Utilizing Trinamic’s highest performance stepper motor driver IC for external MOSFETs TMC5160 and the dedicated closed-loop motion controller TMC4361, the TMCM-3351 is a cost- and energy-efficient stepper motor servo controller for stepper motors with A/B/N quadrature encoders. Ideal for liquid handling and handling sensitive goods, the S-ramp controller allows for precise and fast positioning.
Like all other modules by Trinamic, the TMCM-3351 embeds advanced motor and motion control functions, as well as PLC features. Host communication is possible via the RS485, RS232, CAN or USB serial interface using TMCL or the optional CANopen protocol. Together with the free and easy to use TMCL-IDE, the module allows for easy implementation of a standalone program flow and remote-controlled operation.
An integrated SixPoint or advanced S-Ramp generator per axis allows for precise and rapid positioning – even in environments where parameters and target positions must be changed during motion.
Designed for bipolar stepper motors with A/B/N encoders, the board has dimensions of 150mm x 10mm.
